Message from the Director
In celebration of the 22 years anniversary of TESDA, our provincial office, Sarangani/General Santos is very pleased to finally announce the launch of our brand new and the very first local website. Creating this website is not just an answer to the call of the current administration for intensified campaign on transparency zeal. I have been proud of how consistently improving Sarangani Province is and how dynamic General Santos City is. Thus, our activities that abound should not just remain in the pages of papers, or in hard bound annual reports but should reach out a wide array of clienteles locally and abroad.
TESDA, the lead agency tasked to manage relevant, efficient, and accessible, high-quality technical education and skills development of Filipino middle-level manpower has been the arm of the government in bringing our skilled manpower all over the country. In order for us to keep pace with the information age and with the onset of borderless world we must be ready. This goes for all our TVET (Technical Vocational Education Training) providers and stakeholders.
Creating this site targets to link with all stakeholders and users, especially those in far flung areas with limited connections, hence, this easy-access local site, easy navigation, viewers will be provided with up-to-date, relevant and important information, inspiring local success stories of TVET graduates and beneficiaries.
We enjoin the public to explore this website and learn more about TESDA including its Calendar so you may view upcoming activities and announcements.
We are also encouraging our TVET partners to share relevant stories, news, feature articles and other TESDA related activities in our province.
All the best,
Engr. Richard M. Amparo
